Techniques are constantly evolving, even in the space of 6 months, the tuning of the Viper F16 changed and with it, and the performance of the platform went through the roof!

At strategic points throughout the year, we organise Cat Clinics with our most successful one to date being the Monsoon Madness by Macca. This brought everyone up-to-date with all the current trends emanating from Europe. The Monsoon Madness Clinic by Macca went a long way to explaining many of the advanced techniques that are being employed by Europe’s top teams. Of course the ‘cheat sheet’ was a good way in helping sailors understand the basics of settings of a racing platform.

We also organise our racing season so that a regatta alternates with a Clinic and to see everyone’s skills improve is a heartening experience.
